Ritual - Order Local Takeout App Reviews

The app is complicated to use for first time users. They said they give you a 20% discount on your first order, but they did. I spoke to the owner of the restaurant and sympathized for me but told me I would need to call Ritual. They dont have a number and still waiting for email reply. DONT DOWNLOAD THE APP!!!

You won’t find your favourite restaurants on there but they have a decent selection for lunch in downtown core. It’s not a delivery service. You do have to spend time to walk over and pick up the food. Use sign up code N6951 for $10 credit towards free food.

I use Ritual every morning to grab breakfast and it lets me order my food while i’m on the bus and once I arrive at the store I can always just pick it up and skip the line! The app has worked well for me any time and whenever I’ve had feedback someone from Ritual has contacted me that same day to help me out. They are a super helpful team and care about making sure the experience is great!

I wouldnt say its the best thing to ever happen in the world of apps, but I certainly makes getting my lunch less daunting if I happen to forget it that day. Also, I find it quite easy to use, and if I have ever had an issue, the Ritual team emails you after you leave your review. Pretty great if you ask me. Im lazy, it makes me feel less lazy.

Ritual is a great app for the big cities when youre tired of the foodcourts and want to try the restaurants around you without wasting your lunch hour waiting for your order to be ready. With ritual the payment process is quick and painless although I would like to see they incorporate either PayPal or Apple Pay into their tool. My biggest peeve for this app is the fact that I cant favourite places I liked. Ritual should look into trying to allow their customers that ability while also incorporating a rating system/review.

I work in an area flush with restaurants participating with Ritual — 39 within a 5 minute walk to be precise. This app has dramatically changed my work life. Rather than stress in line waiting to order and receive my lunch, I use the app to order and pay from my desk, then wander over when my order is ready. Now I enjoy rejuvenating during leisurely strolls at lunch rather than wasting away standing in line.

This is my usual approach to ordering lunch - find a restaurant, order through their site, skip the line. I like it.

The ui of the app is not that clear, a lot of things going on in the same view,But at the same time it does what it means to.

- Need to know if this is sit-down or pick-up environment. Is there wait service? - Does not have all items on the menu. Chips, drinks, very important. - Getting order ready when you’re close is pretty ingenious, but how would this work in a timely fashion with something that takes a while to prepare, like a deep dish pizza? - On the roll-out, not a lot of restaurants within walking distance of my office. Can’t wait to see if app offers new choices.
