Ritual - Order Local Takeout App Reviews

This app works great for ordering food. The process is easy and food is always ready. But one issue. Why is this app using 25% of my battery in the past 24 hours when I havent even opened it in 24 hours. Please fix this battery drain.

Very user-friendly, convenient, lots of variety in downtown TO core. Highly recommended for anyone living/working downtown.

I use Ritual almost daily to order lunch. Its easy to use, makes ordering quick and customer service is fantastic!

This app is amazing for people who are busy and always on the go! Order what you want and itll be ready for pick up. No more waiting in long lines!

Tried it for the first time to pick up lunch. Easy ordering, except I had trouble locating the name of the restaurant I wanted to order from (the location was very close to my office however the restaurant wasnt listed in the drop down menu of restaurants nearby), and when I entered the restaurant by name, it would produce no result. Eventually I found the restaurant I was looking for, the ordering process was super fast. I received an alert when it was time to leave for the restaurant and an estimate of how long it took to prepare my order. Thanks RITUAL for the $5 credit. I will use this app as much as possible.

Added convenience/efficiency to my life. Any service challengers have been handled expertly.

Really like the approach ritual is taking here that separates them from uber eats and similar apps. They just make it easier to get food from places nearby you and be rewarded while youre at it for trying places out. Great app that should be another option in your phones "eats" apps.

Saves me 20+ minutes everyday, use it like a toothbrush, everyday twice a day.

Ritual is fantastic! It has completely changed the way I pick up food or coffee. Instead of waiting in line, I just order in advance and the app times everything out so its ready to go as soon as I get there! I had one less than ideal experience (which was the coffee shops fault, not Rituals) and their customer service was so fast and helpful, it is the only reason I go back to that coffee shop. I highly recommend this app!

I use this app every morning for coffee and it has never let me down. I love how I can place my order from my phone before I even leave the house, and be in and out in a flash when I get there. Will never have to wait in another line!

Before you can do anything with the app you are forced to create an account, enter your credit card info and then take a picture of yourself under the guise of making it easier to recognize you on pick up. Stupid. I already gave you my CC before I can even get a taste of your system and you have to have a pic now too?? Im left with the impression that this is a real slimy uber for food type app. No thanks, Ill wait.

This is a brilliant idea. Great customer service! Am excited to use this app myself. Ive heard good things about it from a friend. Can you add chicnjoy. They are my favourite fried chicken joint!!!

Wow. This app was clearly designed by software engineers, not customer service. Before you can even see the list of restaurants, they want your email address, physical address, cellphone number, PICTURE, and credit card!! No restaurant asks for the equivalent of a credit card and drivers license before they show you a menu! Terrible, terrible design and I think shows how much more they care about gathering your personal information, versus providing a service. Shame on the designers.

I love how useful the app is with saving time and money for restaurants with ritual rewards. Love it and use it regularly! Great selection of restaurants and food!

Saves me time at lunch. Pick up is very smooth. App lays out large, complex menus in a straightforward fashion. Very intuitive and easy to use.

Working in the downtown Toronto area, this app has become my new favourite thing. So easy to order food and no awkwardly waiting around the restaurant! I can keep doing work in my office while I wait for my food to be prepared, so nothing cuts into my lunch hour :)
